The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and the Society of Ultrasound in Medical Education (SUSME) are committed to building and enhancing the use of ultrasound in the medical education curriculum. To facilitate this objective, the two organizations have partnered to host a series of Ultrasound in Medical Education Forums with the goal of reaching every medical school in the country.
2014--The first event was held in New York City.
2015--The second annual event was held at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.
